Contact your school first

If you are a parent or caregiver, your child's school is your first contact. The school keeps your child's portfolio: the teacher chooses what to share with you, and the school office manages consent.

  • A question about your child's progress — ask the class teacher or the school's SEN co-ordinator (SENCO).
  • A question about consent, or changing it — ask the school office.
  • Trouble signing in or opening a link — ask the school first.
  • A worry about a child's wellbeing — tell the school straight away. This site cannot give urgent help.

If you are a student, ask the adult who helps you use the Platform.

Common questions

Short answers to the questions families and schools ask most. For anything about one child, your school is the right place to ask.

Can I sign my child up on this site?

No. This is a demonstration with made-up data. The programme is planned to bring schools in over several years, in stages. Ask your school whether it plans to take part. How and when schools join is to be confirmed.

Who can see my child's portfolio?

Only people at your child's school with the right role — a school never sees another school's records. Nothing reaches a family until a parent gives consent, and you see only what the teacher has chosen to share. Programme, NGO and researcher views show de-identified figures only — never names, never media.

Can I change or withdraw consent?

In this demonstration, yes. Withdrawing consent empties the parent view at once, with a plain explanation. Under partial consent, video stays with the school. To change consent, ask your school office. The consent arrangement for real schools is to be confirmed.

Does the AI send anything to families by itself?

No. Nothing it writes reaches a student or parent until a teacher approves it. Every AI action is logged. It never diagnoses, labels, or scores a child.

Accessibility

The Platform is designed to WCAG 2.2 Level AA on desktop, tablet and phone. This is a design target, not a certificate. The design is also made with neurodivergent pupils in mind: calm colours, no flashing or auto-play motion, one main action per screen, plain language, and it follows your device's reduced-motion setting. The interface works in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, and remembers your choice.

Full accessibility statement: to be confirmed — a link will appear here once the statement is published.

If something is hard to see, read or use, please tell your school or the Programme Office.

For school IT teams

The Platform is used in a web browser on desktop, tablet and phone. Schools that filter internet traffic may need to allow its addresses. The exact hostnames are to be confirmed — please do not add anything to an allow-list until the Programme Office confirms them in writing.
